Sue’s Broccoli Casserole

  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 6 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 Teaspoons flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 8 oz. jar Cheese Whiz
  • 2 packages chopped broccoli
  • 3 eggs
  • Cracker crumbs

Thaw and squeeze as much water as possible from the broccoli. 

Sauté onion in 4 tablespoons butter, add flour and water. 

When the mixture thickens, add cheese whiz.

Combine broccoli and sauce.

Beat the eggs well and add to broccoli and sauce.

Pour in greased casserole and top with cracker crumbs and
the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. 

Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 350°F.
