Ede’s Rhubarb Strawberry Jam

bullet 5 cups rhubarb, cut fine
bullet 4 cups sugar

Mix and let stand overnight (room temperature)
Boil for 20 minutes
Then mix in one 3 oz package strawberry Jell-O
Stir until dissolved
Seal in jars
For a different taste, add 1 cup crushed pineapple to the rhubarb.  

(I added a 20 oz can and it was a little much, but OK.)  

I added half a package of Sure-Jell pectin too. A whole pkg would not be too much.

Also you can substitute other flavors of Jell-O.
