Sweet Dill Pickles
- 1 qt whole dill pickles
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp celery seed
- 1 tsp poppy seed
Drain pickles and cut into chunks.
Return pickles to jar. Add seeds.
Combine sugar, vinegar, and water.
Gently boil this syrup for 2 minutes, then pour it over the
pickles.
Seal, and let season for at least a week.
